Privacy Policy, How We Handle Your Information
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our event management, ticketing, and marketing platform.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our event management, ticketing, and marketing platform. We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other relevant regulations in jurisdictions where we operate.

2. Data Controller

Controller: Stubs LLC

Email: support@stubs.pro

3. Data Collection and Use

Stubs collects and processes data to provide event management and communication services. Specifically:

  • Account Information: We collect your name, email address, and profile details during registration to manage your account.
  • Event & Ticket Data: We collect event descriptions, dates, and pricing configurations, including Early Bird and Group Discount rules.
  • Organizer Contact Lists: We process names and email addresses uploaded by organizers via CSV to manage recipient groups (e.g., "VIP Attendees," "Followers").
  • Campaign Analytics: We track engagement metrics such as email delivery status, "Opened" counts, and "Clicked" rates to provide performance reports to organizers.

Legal Basis for Processing: We process your data as necessary to perform our contract with you—to facilitate ticket sales, manage contacts, and dispatch marketing campaigns as requested.

4. Data Retention

Stubs retains personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may retain certain data longer to comply with legal, tax, or accounting requirements (e.g., records of ticket transactions). Organizers can delete their contact lists at any time by removing them from the platform.

5. Sharing and Transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with essential third-party providers:

  • Payment Processing: All payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Email Delivery: Campaigns are dispatched through trusted third-party providers (e.g., SendGrid, Mailgun).
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Stubs uses:

  • Essential Cookies: To maintain your session and remember your preferences.
  • Tracking Pixels: Included in campaign emails to provide organizers with "Opened" and "Clicked" metrics for their marketing reports.

7. Mobile Applications

When you use the Stubs Organizer mobile app, the practices described above apply, along with the following:

  • Push Notifications: With your permission, we collect a device push token (issued by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) when you sign in. It is linked to your account and used solely to deliver organizer notifications — new orders, event status changes, check-in activity, and team updates. Each notification type can be switched off in the app's notification settings, and the token is removed when you log out.
  • Camera: The app uses your device camera only to scan attendee ticket QR codes during check-in. Camera frames are processed on the device and are never stored or transmitted.
  • Photos and Storage: With your permission, the app can save ticket files to your device. We do not read or collect your photos.
  • Sign in with Google: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to create or access your account.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including the rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data.

  • Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@stubs.pro or using our feedback form. We action verified requests within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to retain (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
  • Portability: Organizers can export their contact lists and campaign data as CSV files.
  • Opt-Out: Recipients can unsubscribe from marketing campaigns at any time via the link provided in our emails.

9. Children's Privacy

Stubs is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us immediately for deletion.

10. Security Measures

We use appropriate administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. This includes SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and restricted access to our databases. Stripe handles all sensitive payment information using industry-standard PCI-DSS compliance.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through the app dashboard or by email. Your continued use of the platform after such notice signifies your acceptance of the updated Policy.
